Revised Naturalization Civics Test

The Civics test is administered to applicants who apply for US citizenship to assess their understanding of US history and civics. Naturalization application which is received on or after December 1, 2020 will be subject to revised naturalization civics test. The applicants who applied for US citizenship before December 1, 2020, will take the current version of the test. The revised naturalization civics test includes more questions and cover variety of topics but will not change the passing score, which will remain at 60%. In order to pass, out of 20 questions, the applicants must answer 12 questions correctly.
